5F-AKB48 is a synthetic cannabinoid that is an analog of AKB48. It has been shown to inhibit the binding of [3H]AB-FUBINACA to CB2 receptors in human liver and brain tissue samples. 5F-AKB48 has also been shown to have analgesic activity in mice, with a potency similar to morphine.

This drug also inhibits dopamine reuptake in the caudate putamen, which may be due to its structural similarity with cocaine. 5F-AKB48 is not active at CB1 receptors, unlike most other cannabinoids.
